Seventh Heaven in Park Slope

Billed as a Father's Day Tradition, the annual Seventh Heaven Street Fair in Park Slope promises the grilled corn and lemonade vendors as well as local flavor provided by the eclectic roster of businesses headquartered throughout Park Slope, including New York Methodist Hospital, which will offer free blood pressure and glucose screenings at a booth in front of the hospital between 6th and 7th streets.  Community Bookstore at 143 Seventh Avenue will host children's author readings (schedule here: http://communitybookstore.net/events/?p=771)

This year a scavenger hunt is in the works as well. Get a list of clues at the Park Slope Chamber of Commerce tent (located near Community Bookstore on Seventh Ave between Garfield Place and Carroll Street), and get to scavenging. Prizes are promised, but the discovery of a new go-to business in Park Slope is promising enough!

When: June 20th from 11-7PM
Where: Along Seventh Avenue from Flatbush Ave to 15th Street in Park Slope
Cost: Free, unless you buy something
Website: None
