GIANT Lit Mag Fair

HousingWorks' annual GIANT Lit Mag Fair promises a heck of a bargain: those same lit mags (Glimmer Train, AGNI, Tin House, etc) you see for $5 and up are available to check out and take home for just $2 each. Meant to grow the audience of literary magazine readers, this event might also inspire a few aspiring writers: the editors of many of these magazines will be there too.  This isn't a pitch party - so don't bring your manuscript - but do bring a note pad, make sure you get names and addresses to follow up!  And buy some magazines! The proceeds benefit HousingWorks' programs for low income and homeless New Yorkers.

And while it's not a festival, the HousingWorks' warehouse sale scheduled for tomorrow (in Long Island City) certainly looks appealing, so we're posting this a day early. Go do some good by shopping!
